Baltimore is trying to land Amazon's new HQ with help from Goldman Sachs

A rendering of the Port Covington development, in Baltimore. Baltimore is getting a hand from Goldman Sachs as it tries to become Amazon’s second home. Goldman(GS) invested $ 233 million last month in a huge real estate project that could serve as a potential East Coast base for the e-commerce giant. The move came just a week after Amazon announced plans to open another headquarters in North America. Called “HQ2,” the facility will employ as many as 50,000 workers. Gen Min Aung Hlaing said the Rohingya “has never been an ethnic group”, and accused “extremists” of trying to form a stronghold in northern Rakhine state. North Korea’s cyber wars Hackers linked to North Korea are ramping up attempts to steal bitcoin in order to bring in money for Kim Jong Un’s regime, a top cybersecurity firm says. Social Security Administration warns about fradulent callers trying to steal your checks

A new telephone scam is targeting Social Security recipients. The Social Security Administration is warning that schemers are impersonating government agents and stealing people’s benefits. In a blog post Wednesday, the agency’s Office of the Inspector General said people have been receiving calls from a number with a 323 area code. “The caller claims to be an [agency] employee, and in some instances, tells the victim that they are due a 1.7% cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) increase of their Social Security benefits,” the post reads. David Davis has accused the European Commission of “trying to bully the British people” following negative stories about Brexit negotiations. The Brexit secretary said a “line was crossed” when stories suggested the UK could face a 100bn euro “exit bill”.
