11:24 AM ET Tiger Woods made his return to competitive golf next week official on Friday by committing to the PGA Tour’s season-opening Safeway Open in Napa, California. Bangladesh v England: Eoin Morgan & Alex Hales will not tour over security fears

England one-day captain Eoin Morgan and opening batsman Alex Hales have opted out of October’s tour of Bangladesh because of security concerns. No international side has toured Bangladesh since 20 people were killed in a siege at a cafe in Dhaka in July. Britain’s Chris Froome was forced to run without a bike following a crash with a motorbike on one of the most iconic climbs of the Tour de France. Froome crashed with Richie Porte and Bauke Mollema less than one kilometre from the finish on Mont Ventoux.
