The Irish foreign minister has warned that the Northern Ireland parties must be close to an agreement by Tuesday night in their talks to restore power-sharing. The UK has agreed to sort out its EU “divorce bill” and citizens’ residence rights before starting Brexit trade talks, EU sources have told the BBC. Theresa May is set to to welcome the leader of the Democratic Unionist Party to Downing Street as she seeks a deal to enable the Conservatives to govern.
