Country star Glen Campbell dies at 81

Rhinestone Cowboy singer Glen Campbell has died at the age of 81 after “a long and courageous battle” with Alzheimer’s disease, his family said. “It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather,” their statement said. Star Citizen‘s much-anticipated Alpha 3.0 update isn’t coming out on time. Developer Cloud Imperium Games announced recently that it discovered some “stability issues” in the latest build, and thus the team needs more time to get it ready “for prime time.” “This week, we entered the optimisation, polish, and bug fixing phase for the 3.0 feature set. Luke Cage, House Of Cards Actor Confirmed To Star In True Detective Season 3, If It Happens

Mahershala Ali–who you might know from House of Cards, Marvel’s Luke Cage, or The Hunger Games series–has apparently signed a deal to star in the third season of HBO’s True Detective. That’s despite the fact that Season 3 hasn’t actually been confirmed yet. Chris Evans has topped the list of the BBC’s best-paid stars. He made between £2.2m and £2.25m in 2016/2017, while Claudia Winkleman is the BBC’s highest-paid female celebrity, earning between £450,000 and £500,000. About two-thirds of stars earning more than £150,000 are male, compared to one-third female.
