There are “no indications” that Trump Tower was under surveillance by the US government before or after the election, a Senate committee has said. The statement from Republican Senator Richard Burr, Senate Intelligence Committee chairman, dismissed Donald Trump’s claim his phones were tapped. Rio 2016: IOC panel to have final say on Russian athletes' participation

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) says a three-person panel will have the final say on which Russian athletes can compete at the Rio Games. Last week the IOC said individual sports’ governing bodies must decide if Russian competitors are clean amid claims of state-sponsored doping.
