High Court orders halt to prison protests

The High Court has ordered prison officers to end a 24-hour protest and go back to work following legal action brought by the government. Up to 10,000 prison officers in England and Wales have stopped work over claims of a “surge in violence” in jails. Russian forces are due to suspend military action in the northern Syrian city of Aleppo shortly to allow in desperately needed humanitarian aid. Apple ordered to halt iPhone 6 sales in Beijing

Apple has suffered another setback in China, a country that’s critical to the company’s success. A Beijing intellectual property board ruled that Apple violated the design patents of Shenzhen Baili with the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
