Dunkin' Donuts drastically scales back expansion plans

Dunkin’ Donuts rolls out mobile ordering America may run on Dunkin’, but Dunkin’ Donuts is slowing its expansion plans to a light jog. The chain said Thursday it will only open 380 to 450 locations this year instead of the 585 it had planned. That’s about a third fewer. Most of the paring will be overseas, but Dunkin’ is also scrapping 50 planned locations in the United States. Dunkin’ Donuts blamed changing customer demands. UK service sector sees strong expansion in December

The UK service sector grew at its fastest pace for 17 months in December, a closely watched survey has indicated. The Markit/CIPS services purchasing managers’ index (PMI) rose to 56.2 last month, from 55.2 in November – the highest level since July 2015. But inflationary pressure in the sector continued, with prices charged rising at the strongest rate since April 2011. Services, which include areas such as retailing and banking, make up more than three-quarters of the UK economy. Markit’s Chris Williamson said it defied fears of a Brexit slowdown. ...

Final Fantasy 14's Stormblood Expansion Release Date Announced

Final Fantasy XIV‘s next expansion, Stormblood, will launch on June 20, 2017, Square Enix has announced. The date was confirmed during the game’s Fan Fest event this weekend. As announced previously, Stormblood takes place in the location of Ala Mhigo and will have players face off against a bad guy by the name of Zenos.
