Police were called to Stratford Centre, opposite Westfield, just before 20:00 BST. A man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm. Teen arrested after five linked acid attacks in east London

A teenager has been arrested following five attacks in north-east London which involved corrosive substances being thrown in peoples’ faces. They all happened within 90 minutes in Hackney, Stoke Newington and Islington on Thursday night and detectives are treating them as linked. The attacks began at 22:25 BST on Thursday in Hackney Road. A man has been charged over an acid attack on a woman and her cousin in east London. Resham Khan and Jameel Muhktar, 37, had been celebrating Ms Khan’s 21st birthday before the attack. Acid was thrown on them through their car window on 21 June while they were waiting at traffic lights in Beckton. London attack: Three arrested in east London

Police investigating the London terror attack have made three fresh arrests, following raids involving armed officers in east London. Two men were arrested on suspicion of terrorism offences and a third man was arrested on suspicion of drug offences. Seventeen people have now been arrested in connection with Saturday’s attack and five remain in custody. Eight people were killed when three men drove into pedestrians on London Bridge before stabbing people.
