PS4 Sales Hit 30 Million Worldwide

Global sales of PlayStation 4 have surpassed 30 million units in just two years since the console’s release, Sony revealed on Wednesday. Sony claims that the (partially estimated) sell-through figure “demonstrates the fastest and strongest growth in PlayStation hardware history.” Sony’s best-selling console, the PlayStation 2, broke all-time industry records with sales of more than 155 million units during its twelve years on the market. Its predecessor sold more than 100 million units in nine years. The PlayStation 3 has reached 80 million units in roughly the same amount of ...

The Crew: Wild Run Edition Review

Ambition has never been an issue for The Crew. When it launched last December, Ubisoft’s open world “carPG” attempted to provide players the opportunity to drive across the entire continental United States with a full squad of friends, competing in a wide variety of events like traditional circuit races and chaotic desert raids along the way. Unfortunately, much of the game’s potential went unrealized. The world map–while indeed massive–led to hours of empty commuting through bland environments. The online multiplayer’s myriad technical issues crippled its cooperative aspirations. Even the driving ...

Why Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash Got 6/10 – The Lobby

I enjoy the Wii U Gamepad as a second screen or off screen more then as a map or whatever odd thing they try. I dont think they are rushing the games, i think the games just cost more so Nintendo like other companies are cutting content. If they wanted to rush something, they should have rushed Star Fox Zero. Mario Tennis Ultra Smash might be missing content, but it adds some content to the franchise. The whole Amiibo concept is awesome and you actually see your Amiibo progress and ...

The most badass dragons of all time

Of all the dragons across all media, Smaug may be the one who sticks with fans the most. It’s not his sparkling personality–greed blackened his heart long before Bilbo ever heard of him. His hardiness isn’t particularly impressive (there’s no way a single arrow could fell a dragon from, say, Inquisition). It’s his utter epicness–his mountain lair overflowing with gold; the vicious, unforgiving intelligence, which leads to one of the most memorable conversations in The Hobbit; and the one tiny flaw that, in the end, allows a brave hero to ...
