England posted the highest ever one-day international total and Alex Hales struck a record 171 in the third ODI against Pakistan at Trent Bridge.

The hosts hit 444-3, beating the 443-9 posted by Sri Lanka against the Netherlands in 2006.

Jos Buttler also scored England’s fastest ever 50 – from 22 balls – in an innings of 90 not out.

Pakistan seamer Wahab Riaz’s figures of 0-110 are the second most expensive in ODI cricket.
