Bledsoe, Giannis shine in debut as Bucks duo

2:36 AM ET SAN ANTONIO — Knees wrapped tight in ice, Eric Bledsoe held back laughter when pondering the prospect of tossing alley-oops full time to new teammate Giannis Antetokounmpo. That would be so “easy,” which was a word uttered frequently Friday by the Milwaukee Bucks to describe what it’s like to play with their newest acquisition after a 94-87 win over the San Antonio Spurs. “As a coach, you want that every night,” Bucks coach Jason Kidd said. “We know it’s hard to do. But I thought the intensity, ...

Survival of the fittest in the sprint to the CFP finish

Nov 9, 2017 Pay attention to No. 3 Notre Dame, because how the Irish fare at No. 7 Miami (8 p.m. ET on ABC and ESPN App) will do more to shake up the College Football Playoff race than any other game on Saturday’s loaded Week 11 slate. The ripple effects of an Irish loss to the Hurricanes would be felt from Washington to Wisconsin, because as long as Notre Dame remains in the selection committee’s top four, at least two Power 5 conferences will be out. However, a Notre ...

Lowe: Ten things I like and don't like, including Kyrie-Horford wizardry

7:30 AM ET Time for our weekly run around the league … 1. Andre Drummond, blooming This is the Drummond we’ve been dying to see. He has taken just 12 shots out of post-ups in 11 games, per Synergy Sports. Drummond tried 277 last season, mostly clunky jump hooks that rarely resulted in free throws. Drummond has abandoned the post to focus on what he does best: setting screens, catching lobs from a revived Reggie Jackson, and snaring above-the-rim rebounds before anyone else can hope to reach them. When Drummond ...

Jerry: Possible lawsuit about Goodell, not Zeke

1:49 PM ET FRISCO, Texas — Dallas Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones said the lawsuit he is considering filing against the NFL and other owners has nothing to do with how poorly he believes Ezekiel Elliott has been treated in the league’s investigation into domestic violence. While not pleased that Elliott has been suspended for six games after the running back’s latest legal battle fell short, Jones’ bigger issue is with the negotiations over Roger Goodell’s new contract. Ezekiel Elliott’s injunction of his six-game suspension has been denied ...
