Argentines participate in mass street tango

BUENOS AIRES – Argentines took part in the annual Great National Milonga on Saturday, a mass street tango performance, to celebrate the famous dance. Buenos Aires’ Avenida de Mayo became an outdoor street tango dance salon — known as a “milonga” — for the annual event, which comes a day after National Tango Day. Christmas tree lit up at holy Christian site in Jordan

Jordanians celebrated the upcoming Christmas festivities by lighting up a 12-metre tree at the site some Christians believe is the location of Jesus’ baptism. British graffiti artist Banksy’s mural of late Apple founder Steve Jobs as a refugee on a wall in the Calais migrant camp and two other Banksy works in other parts of the city will be protected, local authorities said on Saturday.
